They took very good care of my cats. Not all vets look at cats properly, but they do! They also got me in quickly without an appointment. Vet took their time explaining to me what was going on, and even called a few days later to check in. Clinic is affordable and they have a huge parking lot & waiting room.

Feeling confident about my dog thanks to the caring instructions from the vet who works on Monday’s and Tuesdays 12-10pm Dr. Christian Amezcua is very attentive! This cyst is getting removed and stitched up in no time with clear instructions to prep him before his surgery and I was clearly explained the estimate for costs

I haven’t been in a few months but I talk about this place to everyone. I no longer live in Los Angeles and since moving it’s been challenging to find a veterinarian center like this one! If you’re in LA, this place is so amazing! They never try to over charge you, and are always truly in service for you and your fur one! Thank you a thousand times <3 Also, very efficient service if you are planning to leave the country with your little one. I had a nightmare experience with the vets in SD and VCC really turned that experience around. You guys are the best! Wiley says thank you 🐾

I visited the Veterinary Care Center a couple of weeks ago for my 4 year old cat after he started peeing blood. It’s been a couple of weeks and while he is still having issues, I have felt so supported by every single vet, nurse, and staff member that I have interacted with. Dr Rachel Brownell is our vet and she has been very promptly answering all of my questions via email, which has been so helpful as we navigate his care. She was very sweet and thorough when we were in office for the exam as well. I would also say their prices are super reasonable, especially for the care we have been receiving. The front desk staff are quick to answer questions and walk me through new meds. Overall I am so happy and they have a customer for life, would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you!!

They were very attentive and gentle with our pets. Out cat has a lot of medical problems but they provide phenomenal care and treat him not just the numbers. Also provide reasonable prices without judgement.

I absolutely love this place. I had Dr. Sherman who saved my Bernese Mountain Dog, Lola. After bringing my dog to another vet, I tried Dr. Sherman whom was not only lovely, but discovered my dog had Stage 2 kidney disease! She instantly helped me put a diet plan into play along with the proper medication. I liked her so much that I even brought my other dog, Charlie. She told me to come back in two months to see how the medication is helping Lola. I have just called to arrange her follow up appointment and I’m now feeling lost because I was just told her Vet is no longer there! I only just switched both my dogs 2 months ago and no one there bothered telling me? Where am I supposed to go now? Can anyone tell me where Dr. Ella Sherman is?

I've had my dog for 13 years, and of the 10 years I've lived in LA, I've usually come to VCC. Overall, I've had a great experience with them. Dr. Christian Amezcua did a tumor removal for my sweet girl Ellie when she had a mast cell tumor, and did a wonderful job. It gave her another 3 years of life. And after each treatment/surgery, they provided statements quickly so I could get reimbursed through insurance. My dog Ellie became extremely ill this past week, and I brought her to VCC. The staff was warm and friendly, and urged me to go to MASH for an emergency doctor since there weren't any doctors available that day. After MASH provided a critical diagnosis, I brought her to VCC the next day to help her transition on. Dr. Rachel Brownell was my doctor that day and she listened thoroughly, help me reach a very hard conclusion, and held very sacred space as I held Ellie in her final moments. Not every appointment was a perfect one over the last 10 years, but I do think all the doctors and staff here try their best to give you as many resources and options as possible for your fur baby. Thanks VCC!

Great respect and care for elderly dying dog. I've been caring for it since the death of the owner had to make a decision harder than making one for my own dog. I felt comfortable here. And definitely NOT overcharged by people who want money. These folks CARE. Felt comfortable taking a good friend with her first dog here shortly after. He was a young pup around women so much he barked a men, he still liked his Aussie vet. Belly rubs got good points. Sammy left comfortably.

I have been looking for a new vet who has an incredible and friendly staff, clean facilities, honesty about pricing, payment plan options, and most of all ones that were truly knowledgable. My dog is very sensitive and they took everything very slow with her to make her comfortable, the doctor explained my options without making me feel like a bad person for not being able to shell out tons of cash in a day, and they solved a problem my dog has had for nine years because they actually knew their stuff. I am so thankful to have found them.

Can't stop raving about this place! Maybe more so because the day prior, had the WORST SCAM experience at Urgent Paw Care in Duarte. So where do we start... Our family dog got viciously attacked by a pitbull while taking his daily walk on a leash. We took him to our vet right away, but really couldn't see any marks due to his dense hair, but was advised by the vet, if we see anything, come right back. The following week while giving him a bath, that's when we noticed a puncture in his skin the size of a quarter! We took him right back to the vet and he advised we go somewhere where they would accommodate surgery if needed. After calling MULTI places, I finally found Urgent Paws (and although it was 15miles out) we decided with all the great reviews, we would take him here. On the phone, the assistance was great, and even when we walked in (we were the ONLY ones there) the VA's where great. Gentle with the dog, caring, petting him for assurance. Then we waited for almost 15mins + for Dr. Brown to come in. Right off the bat, her vibe was not assuring. My dog did not feel comfortable with her AT ALL. From the door, she had the VA give us a muzzle to put on my dog (which I understand for some dogs may get vicious). She then comes, checks his pulse, just LOOKS at the wound (doesn't even TOUCH IT) and walks out. 15+mins later, the VA comes in with the estimate of procedure. The exam fee was $141 They stated we needed surgery (once again without even really LOOKING at his wounds) and the cost would be $2500+ - $3500+ depending. AND that doesn't guarantee that they would be even ABLE to finish the procedure. If during the procedure they feel they cannot finish, then we would need to get transferred to ANOTHER facility. They told me I can get some time to think about it, BUT if I decide to come back the next day, since it would be ANOTHER doctor that would be looking at our dog, they would charge us ANOTHER $75 and the assessment from THAT doctor might be dif
